Who are we?

Libertarian at heart, long before I even knew the meaning of the word, I discovered Bitcoin around 2011 thanks to a cypherpunk friend. He spent his days behind a screen testing infrastructure security — a passionate white hat — and would often share stories of his exploits. With Bitcoin’s rapid rise on the darknet, the technology quickly struck us as revolutionary. The idea of a currency operating outside centralized control was incredibly exciting, even if using it at the time was far from easy or intuitive. That’s how my journey with Bitcoin began.

As the years went by, I pursued a career in the world of Swiss Haute Horlogerie, working as a watchmaker — assembly, repair, design, and fabrication. Then in 2023, I came across the SeedSigner project, which at first didn't seem very secure due to the lack of a secure element, but with further research, I understood the reason why the project came into being... Being somewhat paranoid by nature, I was drawn to the idea of maximizing control over how I interact with my cold storage. I quickly embraced the solution.

Wanting to personalize the device, I designed my own case and shared it on Twitter. To my surprise, it generated a lot of interest and engagement. And just like that, I found myself actively contributing to the cold storage ecosystem.
